Describe the condition accurately
Does it run without cooling, stop after a few minutes, or show rust and door damage? State only what you know and avoid an uncertain technical diagnosis.
Prepare useful photos
Photograph the front, sides, interior, model label and any rust or damage. Add approximate dimensions when possible, especially for large and side-by-side units.
Explain property access
Include the floor, lift availability and narrow stairs or corridors. A heavy refrigerator may need a different collection plan, and you should not attempt to lower it alone.
Handle food and water safely
Empty and disconnect the appliance safely and allow it to defrost when needed before the agreed appointment. Avoid laying it down or restarting it after transport without following manufacturer guidance.
